It had been about two years since the defeat of Hellmaster and the Slayers group had continued to travel on their way. They had spilt up for a time but now they were back together, including the dreary chimera Zelgadis. One day they where walking down the road when they came to a fork and before anyone could speak an opinion Lina blurted out, "We're going to the right."

Zel sweatdropped and said sarcastically, "Aren't we a little demanding."

Lina glared at Zelgadis and said, "We're going to the right," and then began down the path to the right with the rest of them in tow.

A few miles down the road Amelia raced up to Lina and asked, "Miss Lina why did we need to go to the right?"

Lina smiled looking straight forward and replied cheerfully, "Because just down this way is an inn that has the most spectacular hot spring every," at that both male companions facefaltured in the middle of the road.

"You brought us this way just for the hot spring," Zel proclaimed, a slight bit of annoyance present in his voice.

Lina glared at Zel again, 'Man he's being difficult today, and I mean more difficult than usual,' she mused as she stalked towards the chimera. "Listen you, its been a while since we have been able to relax, and we have nothing else to do so we're going," Lina then proceeded to punch him and got pain for her troubles, "Ouch!!!"

Zel sighed as Lina jumped around clutching her hand in pain. "Lina come here," he commanded and grabbed hold of her hand when she obeyed. As he finished his healing spell he sighed and asked rhetorically, "When are you going to remember that my body is made of stone?"

Lina stuck her tongue out at him as she quickly pulled her hand away and continued to walk saying, "We're going and that's final."

Gourry and Amelia shrugged and followed blindly after Lina. Zel sighed but obeyed the implied command that Lina had just given. 'She is so stubborn at times,' Zel sighed as he continued to follow the wild redhead down the road. 'Oh well a little rest won't be a problem...but it seems I won't get to watch her fall asleep tonight,' Zel thought and sighed as he looked at Lina. No one knew but the supposed cold-hearted chimera had feelings for the flame haired sorceress. Feelings he wasn't sure he could ever express. He was usually content with watching her fall asleep when they where on the road. But, hiding those feelings was becoming harder and harder everyday he traveled with her.

'I could always leave,' he mused but then stamped the idea out. 'No, the reason I'm here now is her. She is my happiness, I haven't found a cure and she is the only thing that seems to brighten my mood,' he had decided, he would stay, and maybe tell her how he felt.

The group was soon at the inn. It was a decent sized establishment with as promised a good sized hot springs bath. As soon as the group stepped in they heard some call from a table, "Gourry-dear is that you?"

Gourry, being the one called, and company turned to see Sylphiel coming towards them. The friends all greeted each other and then sat at Sylphiel's table and ordered meals. As Amelia, Gourry and Lina gorged on food Zel sipped his usual cup of coffee. Zel watched them eat for a moment, amused at the way people could consume so much and yet not be blobs, but then started looking around the common area. It seemed that hardly anyone was at the inn, he noticed a board behind the main desk that held room keys. After he replaced their keys in his mind there were only about six or seven other patrons not including Sylphiel.

He turned his attention back to the group and notice that Lina was heading towards her room. He almost got up but then decided to wait. Now was not the time, and if she was going to the baths then she would have to come back through the common room. He finished his coffee and sat for a moment until he saw Lina go by again, bath stuff in hand, towards the baths. 'That's it, I'll have to talk to her,' as he was about ready to go he heard Amelia ask, "Where'd miss Lina go?"

"Imm dom'm knmm," Gourry answered with a chicken leg in his mouth as Sylphiel translated, "We don't really know."

Amelia turned to Zel and before she could even ask his name Zel answered, "Don't worry Amelia I'm sure Lina is enjoying a bath...speaking of which if you'll excuse me."

The rest of the group watched as Zel headed towards the bath not even questioning the lack of any bath needs.

Lina was in front of the private baths. She had waited for this all day and now was preparing herself for a long soak. She finished tying up her long hair as to avoid getting it wet. She then moved towards her bath stall with only a white towel covering her small frame. She turned quickly when she could have sworn she saw something. After looking around the room for a moment she shrugged and started towards the stall again.

Zelgadis cursed under his breathe for two reasons. One, Lina almost saw him, and two because he didn't catch her before she undressed. 'Oh well, no turning back now. Looks like I'll be dodging some fireballs thought,' Zel thought as he readied himself for his next move.

Lina stopped as she was reaching for the door knob. 'I could've sworn I heard something,' she thought as she turned around to look at the changing room again. As she scanned the room she saw something move but lose sight of it. She prepared a small fireball for whatever was in the room. 'Ok, something is stalking me. No biggy, it tends to happen a lot really...BUT WHY NOW!!!' Lina fumed as she looked for whatever she saw. Before she could scan the room again the thing raced towards her at blinding speeds. So fast that she didn't have time to throw the spell before it caught onto her wrist, and held her to the door. She closed her eyes and prepared for what she thought was coming. But, she felt warm breath across her skin, and the hands that had grabbed her held her gently. She opened her eyes slightly to be met with the sapphire slits of a companion of hers. "Zel?!?!" Lina baulked, sounding confused and enraged at the same time.

Zel looked at Lina as she tried to attack him. He knew this was a bad idea but it was either this or be brunt a lot. "Lina...please let me explain," Zel spoke smoothly trying to calm the fireball in front of him.

"Explain my ass! I never thought you would be such a pervert but now I see. You've been following me around so you could get me alone and take...," Lina never finished her statement.

"Be Quite," Zel yelled, pure anger in his voice and showing as an aura around him.

Lina stopped failing and looked at him in shock. She tried to move back but she was against the door. She didn't know what was going on, the one man she thought she could trust had just broken it, and now was in a position to take full advantage. She was afraid, but at the same time couldn't help but feel that bit of excitement she felt. It wasn't everyday the one you secretly loved was this close. That's right, Lina had been harboring feelings for Zel since the first day they meet, but this wasn't how it was supposed to be. Lina began to sob as she bowed her head and asked lowly, "Why..."

Zel's anger disappeared as Lina started to cry. He released her arms and pulled her into a gentle embrace. He tried to comfort her and at the same time whispered in her ear, "Lina...I didn't mean to upset you. I had tried to stop you but by the time I caught up you where already like this. So it was either be blown up or stop you...I'm sorry Lina, my love."

Lina stopped sobbing and jerked her head up to look start in Zel's eyes. She couldn't believe it, she couldn't believe that she had just heard that from him. But, there it was written in his eyes, he did love her. "You...You...love me," she asked shakily.

"Yes, Lina, I have loved you for so long," replied as her wiped the remaining tears away from her eyes.

Lina closed her eyes and laid her head on his shoulder. She wrapped her arms around his waist and returned his embrace while saying, "I love you too."

Zel felt himself smile as he heard those words he had so longed to hear. He ran his hand through Lina's fiery locks as he lowered his head to her neck. He then proceeded to kiss the nape of Lina's neck. Lina leaned her head back as Zel began. She sighed in pleasure as she felt his lips met her skin. Lina smiled wickedly as she got an idea. She moved one hand to Zel's head, holding it in place for him to continue his attentions, and the second moved to the door handle. In one swift motion Lina opened the door, pulled her lover into the bath stall with her, and then shut the door.

Amelia hummed to herself softly as she walked the halls of the inn they were staying at. She had a pail of bath stuff in hand and was on her way to the public baths off the inn.

The inn that they were staying at was one very well renowned for their numerous baths and hot springs. They had been dragged here by Lina’s insistence. But after she, Amelia, Gourry and Zelgadis had arrived Lina had suddenly disappeared. Amelia didn’t think much of it and neither did the others. She was probably off enjoying herself somewhere.

Amelia reached the bathing area and noted all the rooms to the private baths. There were quite a few of them. She wouldn’t have given them a second thought if she hadn’t seen one of Lina’s earrings laying on the floor outside one of the doors.

‘Did Miss Lina loose this? Maybe I should go and quickly check inside to see if she’s there.’ Amelia thought. ‘Anyway this is the girls bathing area so it’s not like I’d be accidentally walking in on a guy.’ She gave the door a knock. “Hello is there anyone in here? I found an earring outside and I wondered if someone had lost it.” Amelia called out. She heard the sounds of loud splashing as she slowly opened the door.

“Amelia?!” Lina squeaked out from the far end of the room. Lina appeared to be having a nice relaxing bath. The bathtub she was in was huge and it was filled with lots and lots of bath bubbles. “What the hell are you doing here?!?!” Lina yelled all red faced from anger.

“I’m sorry Miss Lina! But your earring was just laying outside where anyone could take it and it would be an injustice for me to not get it back to it’s rightful owner!” Amelia declared.

“Fine then put the damn earring down and get the hell out of here!” Lina barked at Amelia with a red raging battle aura surrounding her.

Seeing the angry fiery look in Lina’s eyes caused the little princess to scamper out of the private room quickly.

Lina let out a big sigh. “Damn forgot to lock the door.” She kicked the area in front of her in the bath a few times till her bath mate emerged from the water sputtering and breathing heavily. “She’s gone. Man that was close. Are you alright Zel?”

Zelgadis gave a deft nod before smiling mischievously and stalking closer to the fiery sorceress. “Now where were we?”

She smirked as she stood up revealing her body to Zel. Amelia had come at such a time so that neither of them saw each other. She walked towards him and said, "I think it was right about here," as she placed a finger on the nape of her neck.

Zel's smile never left his face as he leaned down and kissed Lina on the neck again. He slowly moved his attentions up Lina's jawbone until he captured her lips in a very deep, passionate kiss. He felt Lina lean forward into the kiss as their lips touched. Her breast rubbed against his chest as his tongue ran over her lips. She opened and allowed him entrance and he enjoyed her taste as his tongue explored her mouth. Their tongues soon met and it felt as if lighting was flowing through them, the pure sense of pleasure almost overwhelming them.

Zel moaned against Lina's lips as the electricity ran through him. He knew that he wanted her, he wanted her more than his cure more than anything life had to offer, and knew what came next. He released Lina form his kiss, lowered his head, and took hold of one of Lina's nipples in his mouth while his hand caressed the other. He smiled slightly when he heard Lina's breathy moan. He looked up and asked, "You like it," in between his attentions.

"Yes...don't...stop," Lina answered in between gasps.

Zel moved and captured the other nipple in his mouth, nibbling slightly as he began sucking again. His hands caressed slowly down her side until they came to rest at her hips. Lina shivered as she felt his movement and grabbed his head to keep it on her breast. "Zel..." she moaned as she ran her tongue along his ear and then nibbled on the tip.

Zel gasped at Lina's actions. He released her breast and kissed her again. He was so intent on the kiss that he barely noticed Lina's small hands running along his chest. He moaned slightly but didn't let go of the kiss. As Lina's hands went lower Zel found it harder to concentrate on his task and came up for air. "Lina.." he whispered as he nuzzled her neck, wanting her to continue.

Lina smiled as she saw and heard the pleasure that she was causing to run wild within Zel. Gathering all her courage she moved her hands in between his legs. She wrapped a hand around his member and began to lightly stroke. At the same time her other hand went lower and rubbed against the eggs she found there. Lina smiled and shivered as she heard Zel's cry of pleasure as he nibbled on her neck, "Li...Lina!"

Lina soon left off her attentions and looked at Zel. He was panting with lust in his eyes as he looked at her. Lina then smiled and asked, "Please, Zel..."

Zel nodded and pulled Lina towards the edge of the spring. He pulled her into a kiss as he lifted her body onto the floor above the pool. When he came up for breathe he lowered himself into the water slightly as he ran his hands up Lina's thighs. He watched as Lina moaned while leaning back and spreading her legs. Zel moved a hand towards Lina's secret place as she allowed him entrance. He lightly ran his fingers over her as she almost screamed above him.

Lina was on cloud nine about now. As Zel's fingers touched her she felt pure electricity run through her entire body. Out of reflex she almost closed her legs but stopped herself midway, not wanting to break the moment. When Zel stopped she moaned, "Zel...don't stop."

Zel had been hesitant to continue when Lina's legs almost locked around his hand. But, when she told him to continue, he did. His hands went back to their placed and he began again. This time, however, Lina's legs totally locked when his fingers brushed against a tiny pearl like area above her secret place.

Lina lost all control when Zel's fingers brushed against her. The feeling was so intense that she couldn't stop her legs from closing. She panted as the sweat rolled down her face and she slowly opened again. "So...rry Zel, I...I...couldn't," she breathed out before she noticed Zel's head was in between her legs, "Ohhh..."

Zel was overcome as well as he moved his head forward to where he could stimulate Lina's pearl with his tongue. He continued as he heard Lina's cry and felt her legs wrap around his head. He made more forceful passes with his tongue as he slowly inserted his index finger into Lina. He slowly moved his finger forward, not stopping in his attentions, until he came to her barrier. He placed another finger in while stimulating Lina even harder. He looked up at Lina and said, "This may hurt a little," and thrust forward with his fingers as he saw Lina's back arch in orgasmic pleasure.

Lina felt pure fire and lighting shoot through her body as she approached her climax. She heard Zel's warning lowly over her moans of pleasure, and prepared herself. She let out a scream as she climaxed but at the same time felt pain as well as the overriding pleasure. When she came down to earth Lina felt a little drowsy, like she was in a dream, but sat up slowly to face Zel. He had stood up and was right in front of her. She leaned into his chest and sighed as she regained her senses. As she laid there in Zel's arms she noticed that Zel was still excited and she wanted to return the favor he had done for her. Before Zel could react Lina had bent over and was now running her tongue over his member. Lina soon moved to the tip, licked her lips, and took Zel's manhood into her mouth.

Zel gasped as Lina began to develop a rhythm. He ran his fingers through her hair as she continued to drive him mad. He moaned deeply at Lina's actions, but he soon pulled back before he lost total control. He looked down at Lina to see a of worry and nervousness on her face. "Was...Was that wrong," she asked surprised.

"No, it's...it's just I..." Zel tried to explain.

"Oh," Lina smirked as she walked up to Zel. She threw her arms around his neck and whispered, "Then take me," as she lifted a leg up to his waist.

Zel nuzzled Lina neck as he held her leg and positioned himself below her. Then he was ready he slowly entered her up to the base. He looked at Lina as he fought for control. He pulled her close and kissed forcefully. He began to thrust in and out of her, starting off slowly, and then faster as he continued. "Lina...," he moaned as he thrust into her.

Lina had wrapped both legs around Zel's waist and held onto his shoulders as he pistoned under her. She pulled herself up and began nibbling on the nape of his neck. She leaned her head back as Zel continued to thrust into to her but with more force. She felt Zel's lips kiss down her neck until he reached her breast where he sucked on one again. "Zel...Please...Please don't stop," Lina screamed as overwhelmed by the same pleasure as before.

"Lina...," was all Zel could scream as they both reached their climax.

After a moment Zel settle down onto a bench in the pool with Lina sitting in his lap. He looked at her in his hazy state and said, "Amelia's not going to take this well you know."

"We'll worry about that later," Lina replied as she leaned into Zel chest, "right now...stay with me," she asked before kissing him passionately.

Dinnertime found Amelia sitting at a table all alone. 'I wonder where everyone is,' she thought as she ordered her meal. 'I guess they're all relaxing,' she mused as she walked towards her room. As she passed Gourry's room she heard some bumping around, and what sounded like laughter, but she paid it no attention. 'Miss Sylphiel must be trying to help him with something,' she thought as she went to her room to go to sleep.

What happen to the swordsman and the priestess?? Well that's a story for another time.
